Financial Statements — What You Must Know
How to read a balance sheet and income statement and why they are the lifeblood of your business.
Annual financial statements (annual accounts) are not just a mere legal obligation — they are the most important document for analysing the health of your business.
The balance sheet provides a snapshot of the company's financial position on a given date. It shows what the company has (assets) and from what sources it is financed (liabilities). Assets and liabilities must balance.
The income statement shows the result of operations for a given period. It matches all income earned and expenses incurred, with the result being net profit or loss.
ENS d.o.o. regularly holds meetings with clients where we analyse these indicators in detail.
